If you receive an item that is faulty, we will do one of the following at our expense:
- Arrange for a faulty component to be repaired or replaced
- Arrange for the item to be replaced (either by us, or by the UK supplier)
- Arrange for the item to be returned and for you to be refunded.
Your satisfaction is important to us. Contact us by phone (01223 236596) or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have a faulty product and we will deal with it as quickly as we can.
Return of unwanted goods
You must inform us within fourteen days of the day following delivery if you no longer want your goods, either by post or by email. Unwanted items must be returned within 14 days of informing us. The return of unwanted goods is at your own expense; please note that it is advisable to use recorded delivery as proof of postage does not prove receipt.
In our physical shop we accept returned goods that are in the original saleable condition. This means that the item is unopened, e.g. the cellophane is intact, and is complete with all tags, labels and documentation. We will refund you the cost of the item once the item has been received in a saleable condition. The refund will be made as soon as possible, but in any event within 14 days. Please make sure that your contact information (i.e. delivery address) is within the package so that we can identify you.
Disposal of equivalent electrical goods
Under the WEEE 2007 directive, retailers who supply Electrical and Electronic Equipment, which includes electrical and electronic toys, are obliged to finance the disposal of the old, but equivalent, device. We have paid to join the Valpak Distributor Take Back Scheme (registration ID 400052) and so a customer of ours should take their old electrical/electronic toy to a designated collection facility.
